Colchester Hospital cancer failings prompt review

The "serious failings" in cancer services have prompted concern about other areas of patient care at Colchester Hospital in Essex.

Dr Andrew Pike, Essex director of NHS England, said it was "a concern" that the failings identified in an interim report ran "deeper" within the hospital.

Dr Pike said there would be a review of the whole hospital in late January or early February.
