Rare blue rock thrush spotted in Gloucestershire garden

A rare blue rock thrush has been spotted in a Gloucestershire garden.

The bird has attracted hundreds of twitchers to the residential street in Stow-on-the-Wold where it was seen feeding by a resident.

County bird recorder Richard Baatsen said it was believed to be only the third ever sighting of the species in the UK.
