Lymington hospice teaches widowers how to cook

A hospice in Hampshire is aiming to teach widowers some much-needed cooking skills.

Most of those taking part in the cookery club at Oakhaven Hospice, Lymington, are men who had been used to having their partners cook for them.

Now the hospice is helping the men, some of whom "couldn't even boil an egg", fend for themselves after a lifetime of marriage.

Many of those involved in the club say they have never had to cook for themselves before and are grateful for the company.
