Shrewsbury mansion plugs 200-year-old leak

A "floating" glass and steel construction has been built on top of a stately home in Shropshire to stop the roof leaking.

The engineering feat at Attingham Park near Shrewsbury has cost about £1m and taken two years to build.

The house was designed by the architect John Nash more than 200 years ago and its roof had been leaking ever since.
