Wind turbines from a new factory in Hull have begun generating power in the North Sea.

Dozens of wind turbines that were assembled at the Siemens factory in Hull have begun generating power in the North Sea.

The Dudgeon wind farm off the Norfolk coast is the first to use turbines from the new £310m Green Port facility in the city's Alexandra Dock.

When it is finished, the offshore farm will power almost 500,000 homes.
