Canterbury Cathedral's Huguenot legacy

In 1685, 200,000 French Protestants fled to England to escape persecution in Catholic France.

Many settled in Canterbury where there was already a French community and a church. Today, their descendants still worship every Sunday, in French, at Canterbury Cathedral.
