12th century Canterbury Cathedral stained glass exhibited in Los Angeles
Six of the earliest and most important surviving examples of English stained glass have gone on show at the J.Paul Getty Museum in California.
It is the first time the artworks, dating back to the 12th Century, have been moved from their setting high in the windows of Canterbury Cathedral in Kent.
The BBC spoke to the Very Reverend Dr Robert Willis, the Dean of Canterbury, Leonie Seliger, the director of stained glass at Canterbury Cathedral and Jeffrey Weaver, curator at the J Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles.
