Mark Reckless moves family after MP's Tory/UKIP switch
Mark Reckless, the Kent Conservative MP who defected to UKIP, has told BBC South East Today he has moved his family to an undisclosed location as the controversy around his actions continues.
His move triggered a by-election in Rochester and Strood and while out campaigning with UKIP leader Nigel Farage, Mr Reckless revealed his wife and two children were "taking a break".
Mr Reckless said the move took place during what was a busy time for him with a lot of media interest, but Mr Farage told BBC reporter Piers Hopkirk Mr Reckless had been subjected to "really unpleasant, nasty abuse".
