Wheelchair-user set to take on Mount Kilimanjaro for charity
A man from Lancaster, who is paralysed from the chest down, is in training ahead of a charity attempt to scale Mount Kilimanjaro.
Supported by a 32-strong team, wheelchair user Shaun Gash will undertake the challenge in August.
He has previously completed the Great North Run, a skydive and military obstacle course events as he seeks to "inspire others to push their boundaries when they are faced with a barrier".
Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania, is Africa's highest mountain at 5,895m.
