Yorkshire Regiment soldiers' death anniversary marked
Six soldiers, four of them from West Yorkshire, killed in Afghanistan a year ago have been remembered at a family ceremony.
Sgt Nigel Coupe, 33, of 1st Battalion The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment, was killed alongside Cpl Jake Hartley, 20, Pte Anthony Frampton, 20, Pte Christopher Kershaw, 19, Pte Daniel Wade, 20, and Pte Daniel Wilford, 21, all of 3rd Battalion the Yorkshire Regiment.
Pte Frampton, Cpl Hartley and Pte Wilford, came from Huddersfield and Pte Kershaw came from Bradford.
The six soldiers were killed by an improvised explosive device in Lashkar Gah, Afghanistan on 6 March 2011.
It was the Yorkshire Regiment's largest loss of life in a single incident in Afghanistan.
