Muslim joins Bradford synagogue's ruling body
A Muslim has joined the management body running Bradford's last synagogue.
Jani Rashid will help run the Bradford Reform Synagogue, which was founded in 1880 by German Jews who came to the city to work in the wool trade.
The Grade II listed building was faced with closure in 2013 due to a decline in members. It was saved by a fundraising campaign by businesses and community groups, including the Bradford Council for Mosques.
