Leicester teenagers take part in anti-extremism course

True life accounts from former members of extremist groups are being used to help teach teenagers about the dangers of radicalisation.

Students from the City of Leicester College took part in the workshop - based on first-hand accounts from people who turned their backs on violent extremist groups.

Organisers said the course aims to make children question the use of violence by different groups in trying to achieve their aims.
