War veterans receive honours at Downing Street
War veterans who flew dangerous missions during World War II have been honoured at a special ceremony at Downing Street.
The Prime Minister expressed regret that it had taken so long to officially recognise the courage and sacrifice of those who flew with Bomber Command.
Air Commodore Charles Clarke, from 619 Squadron, Royal Air Force, Andrew Wiseman from 466 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force and Doug Radcliffe from 425 squadron, Royal Air Force all talk about what it means to them to have receive the honour and their regret that it did not happen earlier.
