Students compensated over tuition fees protest arrest

Two students who took part in protests against tuition fees in central London have both been awarded £20,000 payouts, after the Metropolitan Police wrongly accused them of obstruction.

The men were arrested, strip-searched and charged.

But the case was dropped after video footage shown in court conflicted with the officers' accounts.
