Boris Johnson criticised by Airports Commission chief
Boris Johnson has been heavily criticised by the chairman of the Airports Commission over plans for UK aviation.
His "Boris-island" idea of an airport in the Thames Estuary is not currently one of the options being considered by the commission.
Daniel Moylan, the mayor's aviation adviser, says the commission cannot be driven by commercial interest.
But giving evidence to MPs, Sir Howard Davies said the mayor dismissed anything that was "at variance" with what he wanted.
