College demands apology from government over 'visa fraud' allegations

A college accused of allowing foreign students to work illegally has asked for an apology from the Government.

The London School of Business and Finance, in Holborn, central London, is one of 57 private colleges banned from sponsoring immigrants wanting to study in the UK after a Home Office inquiry claimed 219 of its foreign students abused the visa system.

However the college has claimed the government's facts are wrong. The Home Office said they had found "extensive evidence of cheating" on English language exams by students studying at the college.
