Former busker Benjamin Clementine launches world tour

A self-taught musician from north London who was plucked from obscurity while busking in Paris is about to launch an international tour.

Benjamin Clementine, from Edmonton, staged his first performances to commuters on the French capital's Metro system.

But the 25-year-old, who played a sell-out show at London's Barbican last week, is now set to appear on stage in a number of European cities.

BBC London Arts Correspondent, Brenda Emmanus, has been speaking to him about his road from homelessness to fulfilling his childhood dream.

Music credits to Corrine Damas Sandiford and Virgin/EMI.
