'Unsafe lorries' ban begins in London to protect cyclists

Heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) which do not have safety equipment to protect cyclists are being banned from London's roads.

Each breach of the ban carries up to £1,000 fine and repeat offenders risk losing their operating licences.

Seven cyclists have died so far this year in incidents involving HGVs.
