On board London's new Thameslink trains

Thameslink has unveiled the new trains which will be running on its lines through London.

The 12 carriage trains will be up to 50% longer than those currently running on the route and carry 1,750 people seated and standing.

A full service linking the capital with stations in Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire will begin by the end of 2018.
