Covid: The ‘rising star’ nurse who volunteered at a Nightingale Hospital

Dorcas Boamah is a nutrition nurse at the Royal Free Hospital in north London.

But when the Covid-19 pandemic hit, she volunteered at the Nightingale Hospital despite never having worked in intensive care.

She had been given a "rising star" award by the Royal College of Nursing.
