Fracking protest in Barton Moss 'affects' residents

Police claim go-slow marches by anti-fracking protesters are affecting people living near the Barton Moss site where IGas is drilling.

The protesters say they try to avoid any disruption to the lives of residents and businesses and claim police have been heavy handed. Greater Manchester Police said there had been 35 complaints.

So far, the police operation has cost around £330,000 and there have been 55 arrests.

Judy Hobson spoke to Ch Supt Mark Roberts, of Greater Manchester Police, Dan, an anti-fracking campaigner and Michael Jones, leader of Cheshire East Council.
