Greater Manchester students 'missing NVQ certificates'
Students who have completed courses with a Greater Manchester-based training provider claim they have not received their certificates.
More than 100 students said they have not had NVQ certificates from Leadership Development Centre (LDC) which is on the government's approved list of training organisations.
Moss Side's Hideaway Youth Project manager Ahmed Yonis said 90 out of 100 young people who did NVQs with LDC are missing certificates.
He said: "Some of these young people are already struggling to get into the workforce."
After studying at Oasis Academy for a year Daniel Parkinson said: "We've got no qualifications, no certificates."
But LDC's managing director Molly Price denies there are any issues with students obtaining their certificates.
