Northern Powerhouse unknown to two-thirds, survey reveals

The Chancellor George Osborne hopes the Northern Powerhouse will redress the imbalance of the north-south divide and bring investment into northern towns and cities.

But a BBC-commissioned survey finds that 64 % of people have either not heard of the Northern Powerhouse or do not know what it is.
