Tattoo artists training in mental health support

Tattoo artists in Greater Manchester are being offered training in how to support their clients' mental health.

Laura Murton, who runs Lux Tattoo in Prestwich, has received training from the NHS Greater Manchester Shining a Light on Suicide campaign.

She said people have a lot of trust in their tattoo artist with many people "opening up" to her about serious issues.

And she said she is now confident in spotting warning signs and can direct people to further help.
