Liverpool Giants: Brothers who became Liverpool Pals

Two brothers who became Liverpool Pals during World War One will have their stories told as part of a giant marionette show commemorating the war.

Edgar and Fred Kinder answered Lord Derby's call to arms and joined the volunteer battalions in the autumn of 1914.

Edgar died in the Battle of Guillemont, shortly after sending a letter to his brother, who had been sent back to England with a shrapnel injury.

Sue Johnston reports.
