Liverpool Pride: Thousands support parade and event
Thousands of people have joined in with Liverpool Pride, the city's annual celebration of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender culture.
The event saw a parade through the city centre ahead of music shows on the waterfront and in the Stanley Street quarter.
Liverpool Pride, which began in 2010, is held on the anniversary of the death of Whiston teenager Michael Causer, who was the victim of a homophobic attack in 2008.
