Henri Matisse exhibition travels outside London

More than 60 years since French artist Henri Matisse created his iconic work The Snail, it has been featured in a special exhibition at Tate Liverpool.

The famous collage, made by cutting and tearing shapes from paper, has never been displayed in the UK outside London.

The exhibition also includes some of Matisse's best paintings, portraits and landscapes, and will be open until May 2016, as Andy Gill reports.
