Liverpool Biennial art festival featuring 44 artists opens

Liverpool's Biennial festival of art has opened across the city.

The ninth event is focusing on 10 stories about Liverpool made into six episodes featured at 22 sites.

Organisers have commissioned work from 44 artists, with 10 from its artist associate programme, including Warrington's Fran Disley. The festival runs until 16 October.
