Fire dog awarded PDSA's Order of Merit

A dog that spent over a decade working in disaster zones across the world has been given a special award.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue dog Bryn has been presented with animal charity PDSA's Order of Merit.

Bryn, who has now retired after 11 years' service, helped in rescue efforts in the aftermath of the Nepal earthquake and the Japanese tsunami, as well as the Bosley wood mill explosion in Cheshire.
