Mite-ridden fox helped by ambulance staff in Liverpool

A sick fox wandered into an ambulance base in Liverpool, suffering from a condition caused by mites.

The animal was initially filmed in the outdoor eating area of North West Ambulance Service's headquarters in Merseyside when workers noticed he looked ill and underweight.

Pointy - as he was named - was later transferred to animal specialists who treated and released him.
