Rhino's 'unusual' daylight birth caught on camera at Chester Zoo
A rare rhino's daytime arrival has given Chester Zoo's keepers a rare chance to catch a birth on camera.
The zoo said Zuri, one of its eastern black rhinos, gave birth in the afternoon on 12 November.
It said the ungulates almost always gave birth at night, so a daylight arrival was "quite unusual".
Rhino team manager Emma Evison said witnessing it was "just the most incredible privilege".
