CCTV shows moment car crashes into Warrington restaurant window

A restaurant owner has said people were sitting at tables next to a window only moments before a car crashed through it.

The silver Jaguar ploughed into the the Rokka Bar & Grill in Warrington at about 21:30 GMT on Friday.

Gultekin Polat said glass was flying and people were screaming.

There had been about 40 customers and 15 staff in the restaurant at the time of the crash but no-one was badly hurt, he said.
