Norwich Pride parade marches through city

"Record numbers" of people have turned out in Norwich for the city's fifth annual Pride parade and festival celebrating members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) community.

Michelle Savage, who helped organise the event, said: "Way in excess of the expected 5,000 have turned out this year... it just seems to have come of age and we've had fantastic support right across the city."
