Telford residents light up street in festive fundraiser

A group of neighbours have illuminated their street in the run-up to Christmas to raise money for a local dogs' home.

Residents of Gordon Road in Trench, Telford, started the tradition during the Covid pandemic and it has grown each year.

The lights display is drawing visitors to the street each evening, with donations going to Hilbrae Rescue Kennels at Cold Hatton.

The display has also attracted many positive comments after drone footage was posted on social media.
