Langport in Somerset wants to be plastic bag free

A town in Somerset is trying to become a plastic bag free zone in 2013.

Environmental campaigners in Langport want to persuade people to use reusable bags instead.

They also want the government to introduce legislation to make people in England pay for carrier bags, as they do in Wales.
