New York Fashion Week: Somerset amputee makes history

A model from Somerset is believed to have become the first male amputee to take to the catwalk at New York Fashion Week.

Jack Eyers, 25, who grew up in Wells, was born with the rare condition proximal femoral focal deficiency, which prevented his right leg from growing properly.

He decided to have his leg amputated when he was 16.
