Daughter says Post Office treatment 'damaged everything'

A woman says she did not have the support of her mother during her pregnancy because they were caught up in the Horizon scandal.

Lisa Porter's mother, former sub-postmistress Tracey Merritt, said she did not speak to her daughter for 18 months after being threatened by Post Office investigators.

Ms Merritt, from Somerset, was prosecuted for theft but the charges against her were dropped.

A spokesperson for the Post Office said: "We are doing all we can to put right the wrongs of the past."
