Barnsley Council apologises over bin men behaviour

A woman who recorded bin men throwing bags of rubbish and a wheelie bin around has received an apology.

Cheryl Parker, of Prince Arthur Street, Barnsley, checked her CCTV to try to find out why the bins were all over the street.

The video footage has been widely shared on social media.

Barnsley Council said the behaviour was "unacceptable" and an investigation would take place.

It also apologised for the level of service Mrs Parker had received.
