Jubilee boost for Stoke-on-Trent economy

A Stoke-on-Trent potter says her ceramics firm, like others in the area, has been boosted by demand for jubilee products.

Emma Bridgewater admits she has already seen orders increase ahead of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and believes the city has always profited from royal events.

She said: "It's something we should be good at and be good and ready for.

"It's very exciting to be able to think about a national event and interpret it and make something that might last for hundreds of years."
