Driver reported for 'middle-lane hogging' in Cannock

A driver has been reported to police for driving without due care and attention after footage captured him 'hogging' the middle-lane on a motorway.

He was filmed driving for three miles on the M6 Toll between Cannock and Norton Canes, Staffordshire, at about 23:35 GMT on 10 February.

Central Motorway Police Group said: "The driver had been driving for just over a year and had even had extra tuition on motorway driving."

CMPG said if eligible the driver will be required to attend a driver education course, or alternatively may receive points on his licence.
