Car filmed going in wrong direction on A14 near Ipswich

A car has been filmed travelling in the wrong direction on the busy A14 in Suffolk.

The dash-cam footage shows traffic swerving to avoid a car heading westbound near Ipswich on Sunday.

Charlie Burton said he was travelling in a car behind the rest of his family, who were in another vehicle in front of him, when he saw the narrow miss.

He said it was the "the single worst moment" of his life.

The driver of the vehicle travelling the wrong way has since surrendered their licence, police said.
