Walsham-le-Willows church adorned with 5,500 knitted poppies

Thousands of hand-knitted poppies have gone on display at a village church to mark Remembrance Sunday.

People in Walsham-le-Willows, Suffolk, started knitting after they decided to do something "a little different" to commemorate fallen soldiers.

They initially wanted to make 40 poppies out of wool for two crosses at St Mary's Church, but have now made more than 5,500.
