Newcomer Bessie Turner enjoys remarkable 2017

A singer who sent her music to BBC Introducing early in the year has gone on to play a major festival and record a session for Jo Whiley on Radio 2.

Bessie Turner, who lives near Ipswich, has enjoyed a remarkable year since sending her music to BBC Introducing in Suffolk in February.

She played the Latitude Festival in July and has recently recorded a session at Maida Vale.
