Wrong way Turners Hill roundabout lorry driver sacked

A lorry driver has been sacked after dangerously overtaking a car by going the wrong way around a roundabout near Crawley, in West Sussex.

The manoeuvre, just yards from a primary school in Turners Hill, was captured by another driver on a dashboard camera.

Road safety campaigners have gathered other videos of drivers illegally overtaking cars at the same spot, and have urged more motorists to fit cameras in their cars and report cases of dangerous driving.

Bryony MacKenzie spoke to David Pawsey, of Turners Hill Dangerous Driving Action Group, and Kevin Delaney, head of road safety at the Institute of Advanced Motorists.
