Locked in syndrome: Christine Waddell 'will recover'

For 15 years Christine Waddell, from County Durham, has been unable to speak, move or eat and drink normally.

However, she can see and hear, and mentally is as sharp as she was before she developed locked in syndrome after a massive stroke.

She is also confident she will recover.
