Campaigners clean up Redcar beach
Campaigners gathered on Redcar seafront in an effort to spruce up the town's tourist beach.
The promenade area of the town has undergone a £75m redevelopment, but some believe the beachfront has been neglected.
More than a dozen people, including the town's MP, turned out in less than sunny conditions, to help clear the beach of masonry, much of which was left over from the regeneration work.
Look North's Martin Forster talked to some of those taking part.
