North East volunteers hand aid to Calais refugees

Volunteers from the North East of England have been handing out aid to refugees in camps in Calais.

All the aid was donated by people from across the North East region, and then driven to the French port in a convoy of trucks.

Volunteers from the North East Solidarity with Calais Refugees group who handed out the packages included Shabana Kosar, Jenni Yuill and Shah Lalon Amin.
