Ouseburn Farm: Charity-run café success and joyful goat walks

Goat walking has hugely boosted the popularity of Newcastle’s Ouseburn Farm.

Visitors to the farm can book to spend some quality time sauntering about the picturesque valley with the mischievous animals.

Also at the farm is Café Beam, which trains and employs young people with disabilities and learning difficulties to work in hospitality.

Since opening its doors in Ouseburn in March last year, the café has provided placements for its students with the opportunity of paid positions.
