Pensioners' Christmas Day lunch oversubscribed
Organisers of a Christmas Day lunch for pensioners in Marlborough, Wiltshire, say they have had to start turning people away due to demand.
Over 60 people have signed up for the event, which is in its 10th year and is held at the Town Hall.
It is run with the help of volunteers and donations from local shops. Diners pay £5 towards the costs.
Nigel Kerton said it was the first time they had started a waiting list and "closed the books".
