Northern Ireland flag protests cost '£3m a week'
The cost of policing the union flags protests across Northern Ireland has risen to more than £15m.
Senior officers told the Policing Board that the amount is more than twice what was spent on the entire marching season last year.
It has also been revealed that the PSNI has sent hundreds of hours of video footage to the Metropolitan Police in London to help identify those involved in riots and illegal parades.
BBC Newsline's home affairs correspondent Vincent Kearney reports.
